Introduction: During the booking journey,  the students can choose Bank Transfer as the payment method


When the one-time payment is selected, there are two secondary payment methods such as card payment and bank transfer will be displayed

  • In the payment methods selection page, the countdown is managed by the original countdown setting
  • No matter which property in the UK is managed to disable to use bank transfer, the bank transfer payment method will be not shown on the page

Same as the other payment methods, there are many descriptions for bank transfer, that could help students know some rules of bank transfer. If they still have some questions, clikcing FAQs buttons could help them understand more rules of bank transfer

After clicking FAQs button, there is a modal coming up to display more questions student usually have

When the checkbox of the payment method selection page is  ticked off and the button 'Get Bank Account Number' button is clicked, the page above will be shown

  • On this page, the virtual bank account number and transfer reference will be displayed and the student can transfer money to virtual bank account with the transfer reference from her/his online bank interface or in-person bank branch 
  • The countdown display on this page is set for bank transfer and is different from the previous page 
  • At the same time, the email will be sent out, the email will contain the virtual bank account number and the transfer reference
  • If the student has not paid before the countdown finishes, the booking will expire


How the students check the details of the virtual account again

If the student has paid but we haven't received the response or if the student has chosen the bank transfer as the payment method but s/he does not pay within the required time, the student could check the virtual bank account and the transfer reference again. They can come into my booking page to see which booking is in progress and click this card, the page which has the virtual bank account number and transfer reference will be displayed again


State:

  • If the student does not pay before the countdown finishes, the booking will expire
  • If the student pays appropriately within the required time, the booking will be successful 
  • If the student overpays within the required time, the booking will be successful and the overpaid will go to the wallet balance
  • If the student underpays, an email will be sent to the student when we notice the underpayment happens, the student can pay off the balance before the countdown finishes. Also, the student could see the paid insufficient text on the card in my bookings page and students could click the 'Go to Payment' button to pay the owed money
