Introduction: when a student's booking expires, especially after s/he pays off the balance, the countdown finishes in the meantime. S/he is not sure if the money has been transferred successfully, If so, where the transferred money goes and how s/he can use that money to book again

When there is money in the wallet, the new card will be displayed 

  • No matter how the money got into the wallet eg. previously transferred money to offset by staff, transferred money through bank transfer with Stripe

  •  Add a sentence at the bottom of the card

    • Text: Amounts paid/transferred into this booking has been kept in your balance for you

  • The button in the lower left corner is “View Details”

    • When this button is clicked,  it will get to a new page

  • If there is no money in the wallet, keep displaying the default card

There are some explanation sentences in the banner. It is 'Sorry! Your booking has expired. Unfortunately, the money you paid/that was transferred into this booking did not arrive in time to pay what was due to confirm the booking. If you make another booking at this property, please ask your property team to help transfer the balance in this booking to offset payments in your new booking'

  • Add a button called “Book Again Now” in the banner

    • When this button is clicked, the student will get to the new page to choose room type and length of stay again>select bed>select payment plan>personal details>agreement>payment

  • How to display the transaction history
    • Display the “Transaction History-Wallet Transactions”
      • Wallet transactions: display the date, type and amount (=current version)
      • Add an arrow icon to display the payment method, ID and time (=current version)
  • How to display the transferred money in the wallet
    • The title should be “Wallet”
      • There is one sentence telling students 'Not to worry, what you paid/was transferred into this booking has been kept in your balance for you'
    • Show the details in grey background 
      • Available balance: illustrate how much money got into the wallet
      • Add a button called “Book Again” =Book Again Now button
  •  How staff does help students transfer
    • After the student informs the staff, the staff could help the student create a new booking and then transfer
    • Or students book again by themselves and when they go to the terms accepted step, they inform the staff, staff could help hold the bed (or not) and then transfer

On this page, students can see which booking has expired
