Automatically Check-in and Check-out Rolling Booking

When should staff check-in or check-out Rolling Booking?
Staff should ONLY check-in the first rolling booking and check-out the last rolling booking for student
- If there is no rollover booking after current booking, then the system will display the 'Check-Out' button after the booking status is ’Resident‘
- System will automatically check-in and check-out continuous bookings between the first and the last rolling booking.
When will system automatically check-out the existing booking and check-in the new booking?
Only when bookings that are created by using the 'Rolling' Tenancy Option
- System will NOT automatically check-in and check-out the bookings that are created by using the 'Fixed Term' or fully customized Tenancy Option
- When there is a continuous booking after current rolling booking
- System will conduct the automatic check-in and check-out operation at the end of current booking‘s end date
- Note: There is an edge case, when staff does not create a rollover booking after current booking while also not check-out the current booking after the tenancy option end date
- If staff then choose to create rollover booking, then after the rollover booking is created successfully, the system will then imediatelly conduct the automatic operation to check-in the rollover booking and check-out the existing booking
What will happen when the system conduct the automatic check-in and check-out operation?
- The system will skip the room inspection, emergency contact, forms requirement, document requirement
- The system will ignore the finance status of current booking when conduct the automatic check-in checkout operation
- If the current booking has refundable item,the system will create the payment item for the new booking by using configuration of the original booking. Then transfer the refunable item from the existing booking to the new booking.
- after the automatic check-in and check-out operation, the existing booking's status will change from 'Resident' to 'Past' and the new booking’s status will change from ‘Booking Confirmed’ to ‘Resident’
